Ex 8 - ISO/TS 16949:2002 AUDITOR TRANSITION COURSE
Overview
This TWO DAY course is designed for existing auditors (ISO 9001:1994 or QS-9000) to provide an understanding of the ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements and how to undertake a process audit of an organization against them.

- Relationship with QS-9000 and VDA 6.1.
- The International Automotive Task Force (IATF) approach to third
party registration and the Scheme rules.
- How ISO/TS 16949 may be used by the organization for internal improvements.
- How to undertake an audit of a process based system and create checklists.
- The differences between system, process and product audits.
- The identification and importance of the core tools to auditors.

Follow-Up
The course is designed for presentation in-company where specific company
issues can be addressed. Attendees’ subsequent in-house audits
can be supervised to give practical on-site training and feedback.
