Approach to Auditor and Management Systems Training

Excel has always adopted a participative approach to auditor training programmes, convinced that people learn by doing rather than by listening.  As such, Excel's auditor courses involve a significant proportion of workshops, case study programmes and lead auditor simulation exercises.  The case study and role-play exercises are designed to highlight key teaching points in a controlled environment, ensuring that a wide range of experiences can be illustrated in a relatively short period of time.

Within the Environmental Lead Auditor and Health & Safety Internal and Lead Auditor courses, Excel Partnership incorporates a unique 'slide photo tour', allowing delegates to visualise and identify site issues, providing an element of 'real-life' auditing and observation in the class-room environment.

We believe a key factor that differentiates Excel from our competitors is the enthusiastic and pragmatic approach of our tutors who are experienced in the subjects they teach. Having worked in industry and commerce for many years, they are experienced practitioners who have the ability to train by illustrating the teaching points through real life examples. Their realistic interpretation of management system requirements has helped organizations to maximize their potential through their people. See our Case Studies which illustrate how we achieve this in practice.

Regular course and auditor certification reviews are undertaken to make sure that our material is updated with the latest auditor training information and to reflect any revisions in the applicable standards.  See our News Items for the latest updates..
