Lean Six Sigma principles and Process mapping training coursesIntegrated Management Systems Auditor Training Course

Overview

This is a TWO-DAY highly interactive and practical course is designed to develop delegates’ knowledge of Integrated Management System auditing in order to:

  • Implement an effective audit programme for an organisation’s integrated management system.
  • Understand how health & safety and environmental hazards and risk processes can be incorporated into the integrated audit process.
  • Know how audits can benefit and support the integration of management system standards.
Over recent years many organisations have brought their Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems together. However in many instances, they still carry out separate audits as required by ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS18001 with much duplication of effort and cost but little additional value.

When an organisation is developing (or already has) an integrated management system, it is important to know how audits can be conducted in order to benefit and support integration, as well as deciding whether audits can be integrated when management systems are constructed wholly or partially separate.

Key Skills / Learning Objectives

Through the combination of interactive tutorials, our course will enable the delegates to:

  • Implement an audit programme that includes the process of planning, performing, reporting, follow-up and close out of audits of integrated management systems
  • Communicate the potential benefits and possible difficulties with integrated auditing
  • Provide an overview of environment aspects, health and safety hazards, quality risks and their legal frameworks
  • Apply and develop the necessary skills to undertake integrated audits covering various management system standards

Practical workshops are designed to reinforce the discussions and topics. This style of delivery makes the course both memorable and enjoyable for participants, ensuring long-term learning.
